very well said. only thing i have to add to that is that a rotary is a 4 stroke not a 2. http://www.howstuffworks.com says the rotary motors are a 4 stroke.

I never said it was a 2 stroke, but if you ever owned a 2 stroke then you would know the way the power comes on is very similiar.

I like them both and i would love to have a rotory... but alas, i cannot afford one.. and even if i could i dont think i could afford replacing apex seals all the time...

Its not a 1.3L thats kinda funny, wonder why mazda calls it a 1.3L??? Unless you are thinking of the 1.2L, also know as a 12a.

ummm, ya, last i checked the 13b was a 1.3L with 2x654cc displacement or something close to that. where do you get this miss-information?
