i still dont see how this is going to make drifting more expensive, its a demo between nascar guys (that can actually do more than turn left, Jeff Gordon kicked ass at the rally all-star thingie a while back) and d1, having nascar's sponsors arent going to affect us in the grassroots market, most of us will never even try to compete in d1 and of course its going to get more expensive because it is the professional series, geez everyone is being so negative about the future of drifting lately, what is so bad about drifting becoming popluar? cause you dont want ricers becoming drifters? dont want to dilute the market with cheaper, better parts that comes with more companies? NASCAR made stock car racing extemely popluar, but a guy can still build a cheap car and go out to other tracks and have fun and be competive thanks to the huge amount of companies that caters to the normal person! in fact i cant think of a better company for drifting to model their company after than NASCAR
im really looking forward to this
there is nothing worse than watching a nascar race on tv. if u ever have trouble falling asleep just watch a nascar race. my father in law is a die hard nascar fan and my daughter goes to their house on the weekends and every sunday when the race is on he wont move off the couch for nothing 1 day me and my wife were ringing the door bell and no one came to the door my daughter finally heard the door and let us in and where was he on the couch made me mad as hell. I said man u could had came and answered the door its not like u were gonna miss anything they are goin around in circles.my mother in law said he does this every sunday when the race is on he dosent do anything and its been like that for the past 2 years
I'm with the munkey. I'm just surprised there haven't been more demos and what not in the parking lot before NASCAR races. we all know rednecks love tire smoke and burnouts, I know I do.

This is going to be good for the sport, don't care what anyone says negatively about it. All we really need at this point is coverage to bring in sponsors and money to make the sport more competitive.
