I say congrats on the home brew turbo. I was in this game when we were putting home brew turbos on 1.5L and 1.6L Civic's and CRX's "the SI's were better" made from parts from the old Mustang and thunderbird turbo coups. And cold air intakes were made out of dryer hose. Shure they might not be reliable and the power not as smooth as a uber pricey already built kit, but then you could not buy the stuff. Also when you are making something totaly new it takes time to figure it out, its not going to be prefect the FOERST time if it is somthing new that has not been done before.

the thing about his TIG welding skills is that he dosent use a pulser...it all by hand......I HATE HIM for this..I can't even mig and he TIGS look better than just about anything I have seenicantdrift wrote:i am definitely jealous of his welding skills.
and now that you've posted his forum responses it puts it more into perspective. i was under the impression he was building it for a low buck drifting project, hence my response toward the power curve.
