Did some welding and some more bracket fabricating, we decided to do a 1JZ swap if we can get a good engine/tranny kit. We bought some nice aftermarket headlights and next week we drive to the cage builder for 3 days, after that we pick up the rest of the missing bodyparts (Hood, Doors, Fenders) and the Bodykit is ordered too.

We got a trunk door for free (yes its from a amg, not that it makes a difference :D ), i had some old e30 seats laying around so i cutted them into piece and used the lengts adjustment part to make new seat mounts, now it can be adjusted about 3-4inches.

Hope i can finish the paintjob over christmas so we just have to but in the engine after new year (if we have one till that)

Nope Dan those are the Sparco Speed seats... she got em for cheap from a friend, dunno why he bought those cause those are the same price as the sprint (which i have) but no FIA and no side mounts... But like i said those where cheap...

The thing on the steering collum has two duties, one is to mount the dashboard on it and the second is that its the second mount for the collum which will be bolt to a tube we weld to the cage next week. Its a little bit wobbling so i decided to make a second mount for safety.

Today i got my new TIG welder and i love it...

ACDC ftw

And i started to do some stuff for the cage, the boxes for the main bar:

cant wait to drive to the cage builder next week...

And the electronic nerd which helps me with the wiring started to cut off all the necessary connectors and stuff from the harness.
