thats where mine are going but i've had a couple of people (some who have much more racing and driving experience than me) say that they're still not extremely safe. i have heard that some companies take more safety precautions for streetable harnesses though (schroth is one that comes to mind) and they might be alright for street use. it took me all of a day to figure out that they're pretty annoying to wear around anyways though (checking blind spots and moving any isn't extremely easy), so i rarely use mine now. i'll still probably get a set of 5-points for the 240 though just to have for track/drift days and stuff like that.

oh, and installing them is a breeze (at least on the celica), that's one more thing that 507 motorworks would be glad to help with :).

I did the same thing when I used to autocross my daily driver. It worked fine.

pink roll cage would *rule*

I probably won't invest in a set of harnesses until I really need them. I don't want to get them just for looks, because that's a bit too expensive! Checking blindspots is important, especially if I get the Brix's that have large supports to look around.

..Speaking of which, those seats are the Brix seats, *not* the Brix II. The Brix II's were widened a bit to fit the growing american market. One of the main reasons Brian wants to sell those, so he can get the II's.

My stock STi seats are either going to be chairs in my living room or sold to someone with a WRX who can make use of the airbags.

Well, I got to ride out in the MR2 today...and omg that car is effin SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't say enough about it. It's hott, it's fast, it's got ssqv action. And the seats....

The brix's RULE. But, if you are any larger than I am you will be uncomfortable. They are *super* snug. Tiny, but hold you in great.

Definitely sit in them before you get 'em cody! I'm not sure if I'm going to get Brian's [we didn't discuss this too much] because they are a bit worn/pilled, and because I really want gradation. But we'll see! I'll definitely have one for road atlanta in july so you can sit in it:)

ferSure, yo!
We'll be there!

I don't think Hooman can make it, cause he has to accompany a family member taking delivery on her Toyota Matrix... but nobody and I will be there!

I just emailed Brian directly asking what he would want for them. So hopefully today I'll know whether I'll order my own soon or just buy his.
