i'm at work, so i'm not going to spend the time finding it, but i've seen a shock dyno of a lot of the best (read: most expensive) coilovers used in japan, along with pants, and pants was only outdone by ONE (out of like 5 i believe) brand, and their dynos were very very close.

all the brands the pants shocks were compared to were well over the price of the pants, and besides the one, all performed well below the pants.

so, for 240sx damper valving, pants is damn hard (impossible?) to beat for the money.

i've heard good things about the megan (the best thing is that they're not made by megan) coils, but i've heard NOTHING but TONS of good about the pants coils on 240's.

that must have been weird, was it there on business?
you can always spot a business panda cause it has a tie on and a briefcase.

as far as spring rates, i bought some qa1 springs from summit for my cst since i want teh rear softer. harder rear does well if you have lower hp, but the higher you get the more rear squat you want.

I love my pants, but I have never drove any other brand.

They are made in china, which pissed me off.

i've heard the same about the meagans that they are a near exact copy of the apexi n1's.......

I guess considering the pants gr's come with a 2nd set of heavier springs and with all the good things I hear about them, they would probably be my best bet. I've seen where some people running an rb will run a heavier spring in the front to kinda offset the weight some. 9kg front and 6kg rear is what I assume they were running, never found out for sure.

i'd have to disagree with that k sport's are pretty crappy to be put in the same sentence with the rest of those, you can't even be exact when adjusting the dampening, make a few turns and hope its almost the same as the other side...
