lol.

basically, an old lady in an impala backed into andy, laura, byron, my sister, and my aunt, and then proceeded to run into the back of my fit (despite insane yelling from andy and jerry during the process). she claimed her foot slipped off the brake but she was totally flooring it as it happend. sucks. luckily no one got hurt too bad though, just some scrapes and stuff, although andy was a bit sore towards the end of the night.

The old lady was pretty scared when she got out of the car. Most of that from a crazy skinny guy yelling and hitting her car (if Andy still had the mohawk, I think she would have had a heart attack). One of the witnesses did say the car slowed a little then sped up before she plowed into us. Sucks that it happened. Feel bad for the 5 that went down. Everyone is ok, Fit is gonna get fixed, the scrapes will heal.

America needs to test anyone over 55 on a street course to keep their license.

If you are eligible for a Senior Citizen's discount you should have to take a driving test ;)

The problem is that most of the senior citizens can meet the minimum requirements to keep their license; parking, 3-pt turns, blinkers, etc. But when it comes to real-world situations all hell breaks loose.

POST OF THE DAY.

I still don't totally know what the hell happened. Panda and I were trying to put the pieces together last night on the way home. I know that if Cody's Fit wasn't there to stop that lady, that several of us would have been run over, and possibly killed.

I do feel bad that I started yelling and pounding on her car. It was like an involuntary reflex. I totally freaked out, but I guess that was my response to getting hitting hit by a fucking car.

I gave her a hug later, and apologized for yelling, even though I don't really think I was that out of line. She was very apologetic, and started crying.

My right shoulder, left elbow, back, ankle... and even my jaw are sore this morning... but LUCKILY nobody was seriously injured. The whole situation could have turned out SO SO SO much worse.

And how is it... that I fall off a piece of plywood inches from the ground, and I totally wreck my life... but then I get hit by a damn car, and I'm like "naah, I'm cool".
