Coilovers

Post by blackmage1 »

I'm looking to get a set for my FC in October and I'm not sure really which to get. I was going to get the Tien Flex ones, but everyone says they are too springy. The car is being built for road racing and having fun thrashing the mountains. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I don't know much about FC suspension. I don't see why the Teins would be bad, though.

if you worried about it being to "springy" then get a harder set of springs. 8/6 should be pretty good if this was a DD car also, but maybe step up to 9/7 or 9/8

Well it's a DD till I manage to scavenge up a trans comp for my Mirage. But it'll pretty much be a weekend car so stiffness isn't an issue.
