o.g. 1980 celica. chassis is kinda tweaked due to me running it into a bmw (not andy) on 14th street at 2 in the morning, and the motor is fubar'd.
near flush. 14x6 +0, wut son? plan on spacers until some suitable 14,15,16x8,9,10 show up.
1981 celica chassis, i bought for $500 and used for the 5spd conversion on old car + spare parts. now i'm gonna shove all that crap back into it. has a 22R (2.4L instead of 2.2L, supposed factory weber carb, a sunroof, and mkI celicasupra taillight conversion which will go away since it looks like garbage). still debating whether or not to bother with the TRD street cam from the other motor, since that made it require rocker arm adjustments every 5k or so miles no matter what i tried to make it not.
oh boy.
right now, just gonna get it running. then wheels, slammage, oil cooler, and massive pipes for super boso style. then some manner of real suspension. then figure out wtf motor to shove in it and what i'm going to do to make sure it doesn't grenade its drivetrain.
leaning towards ls400 v8... put i'll probably change my mind a billion times before i get to that step.
