i should be ordering new exhaust later tonite, along with an air filter + velocity stack. should be interesting! and i'd appreciate it if my bike goes untouched until i get up there again, i'm out of gas, i need to check the spark plug, and change the needle setting. and yeah, last nite was fun. wish my bike would stop cutting off after a few seconds at wot.

I put in a new spark plug a few minutes ago. It runs much better. All I need to do now is test and tune. for the moment, I think it's running too lean.
Shiz....I'll hook you up with some gas (50:1) since I used your biket one night.

cool! thanks cody and thanks chris for the gas offer. tomorrow imma buy some more oil anyways, so if you'd rather pay me in the form of a sandwich that'd be best. i'll still accept gas and shit though. i just ordered my exhaust and air filter/velocity stack! w00t. and chris, glad to hear your shit is running better after you replaced that fouled plug. i think i need to set my needle to the 4th setting, the 5th may have been the cause of the bike cutting off and shit.

I agree. There were a couple of threads about the needle setting being too lean and doing the bike doing the same thing.
I'm also doing a bit of trial and error with the needle. In the 5th position, the bike would rev instantly up to redline as soon it was cranked. So, I moved the it to the 4th position, but haven't had a chance to try it out yet.
I'll be happy to buy you a sandwich or something. It's gotta be next week though. I'm a broke mofo this week. :?

ada doesn't have any exhausts though. i got both for $120 or so on ebay. gotta love those generic poop pipes. i wanted the jetpro exhaust, which is supposedly the best, but i was gonna be paying close to $200 on ebay for that shit. nevermind!

agreed. $200 is a little excessive. it'd be nice, but i've got better things to buy with $200.
I'll probably do the same as you and cody and go with the Ebay speicals. A intake will be FOERST (since I ripped mine off  ) then I'll see about an exhaust.
As of right now....my goal is to tune mine to be as fast as yours while being completely stock (minus the absence of an exhaust).
