very well said. only thing i have to add to that is that a rotary is a 4 stroke not a 2. http://www.howstuffworks.com says the rotary motors are a 4 stroke.

I never said it was a 2 stroke, but if you ever owned a 2 stroke then you would know the way the power comes on is very similiar.

all I have to say about pistons v. rotors is summed up here...

because no matter how dumb it seems to post a picture of one big godam cat on this thread, it's smarter than starting a opinion-based troll-magnet thread, basically based on a lot of rx-7 bashing.

O.K. look here. FOERST of all, this thread was not started to bash anybody. this thread was started because everybody IS entitled to their own opinion and, the fact is, that they were pouring out all over the other threads. those threads were being taken over by the same "opinion-based" comments that you gracefully described. beyond that, I, am also entitled to my own opinion and i did post it. THIS IS THE INTERNET! that is why it was here. i do not recall reading anything about opinions being regulated in any way when i registered on this forum. If you have any more problems with this, i suggest that you either keep them to yourself or refrain from reading this thread.

PS what about the thread on FR or 4WD? were you able to bash that one also or did you let out all your steam on this one?

"Yeah i hate boats."

By the way Kouki7, the picture on your signature is a little wrong.... the 13b isn't 1.3L.. dont mean to be an @$$ just making a correction :D

I like them both and i would love to have a rotory... but alas, i cannot afford one.. :( and even if i could i dont think i could afford replacing apex seals all the time...

Its not a 1.3L thats kinda funny, wonder why mazda calls it a 1.3L??? Unless you are thinking of the 1.2L, also know as a 12a.

ummm, ya, last i checked the 13b was a 1.3L with 2x654cc displacement or something close to that. where do you get this miss-information?

btw, what did you think it was, 5.0L?!
