I'll take a turbine. GE or Rolls Royce, preferably, but a lyuanka low compression unit will give me at least 1450 shaft horsepower at a mere 1.5 lbs of kerosene per minute.
*sings* my corolla breaks down more than your corolla!
hahaha...gotta show my piston love i guess .
but yea, i'd take a rotary too if someone wants to send one my way. preferably a FD, maybe on some volks or something.
I love them both, to have never owned a rotary and down it is so closed minded. When they are right its a beautiful thing, the exhaust note they make, the way a turbo rotary comes on. Its like they won't stop pulling, common sense is the only thing that tells you to shift. But the torque piston engine makes is so nice, its raw feeling when its built. the way it vibrates you at idle. But it is sure nice to have that smooth feeling in a rotary when you are hitiing 8500 rpm and it feels like 2000rpm. Nothing like a fire show from a rotary. You down the little 1.3L but it will bite you in the ass one day. I have 120k on my stock engine. Not to bad for a engine that you all say blows up every other week. All i know is love burning fuel, i don't car how its done. I just love the feeling nothing else like it. I guess if you ever owned a 2 stroke motor, than you would fall in love with the rotary.
