By signing up am I intending on participating in the championship? What license do they speak of? And whats up with this $20 fee?1. Registration
All entrants who intend to participate in the championship must be registered and must be a current competition license holder. Registrations must be received for the championship no later than seven (7) days prior to the event in which an entrant intends to begin their participation in the championship. The registration fee for participation in the championship for 2006 is $20US. Registration in the championship does not imply or in any way guarantee acceptance into all rounds.

There are several factors in my thinking...
1: FD ATL is the week after. It has been the trend lately for me to break my car the week of an event, and I have miss a lot of work, and not sleep for an entire week to fix it in time. This has happened the past three events... all of which have required serious repair... not to mention been a hard hit to the wallet.
2: It's expensive. I just sunk a rediculous amount of money into the car, and another $300 for FD. Like I was saying - I've been having to miss work to fix my car, which means I don't get paid... which then means I don't have money to fix my car when I break it - it's a viscious cycle.
3: Tyres.
4: I have a HUGE proposal that I HAVE to get out (and I do mean HUGE)... and it has to be done this weekend.
On the other hand... I am still getting used to my new suspension - and it would be a great chance to shake down the car and dial in settings before FD. I really want to make it down... I don't even have to mention that it would be fun as hell to rawk out all day and slide like maniacs with all my friends. I am sorta on the fence about it at this point. I am still trying to figure everything out, cause I would love to be down there.

1. if you break your car i'd be willing to sacrifice sleep to help fix itandysapp wrote:There are several factors in my thinking...

2. i thought you were an instructor?
3. bring your wheels up here, i have a couple pairs of 215/45-17 (pair of coopers and a pair of dunlop 9000's) with very usable tread (6-7/32) i'll throw on there for you that i don't need. i'm going to be buying some Maxxis stuff this week with the pro-pricing deal.
4. can't help you there
If the cars going to break wouldnt you rather it break at practice day then at FD. Either way if something is that close to coming apart it will, either this weekend or next, preferably this one. Plus high speed practice the weekend before would be beneficial.
