Same here till elite summer nationals this year.

I still get way too nervous when I being followed.

lol... i just ignore the car behind me, cankles told me to covered my rearview mirrors so i tried it,...aint gonna lie, felt alot better.

im still nervous when i follow, cuz object is to stay close and just hope they dnt mess up and fuck ya,...lol

Qualifying is kind of like auditioning for a seat in a big orchestra...

You have to perform at your best EVEN under pressure... control your nerves and just perform flawlessly to get a chance to play in that orchestra.

This rules out those that run all day and crack under pressure or get that one bad run.. it's all about handling the pressure and being as consistent as you were all day.

Sure there are mechanical failures and SHIT HAPPENS.. but that's part of racing in general. Keep your shit tight and clean, you reduce the risk of 'shit happens'.

same here. i do much better leading and actually pushes me to drive better/faster. when following, i have trouble judging their speed and dont do as well.
i need to tandem more next season for sho!
good luck to those competing this weekend. hate that i have to miss it!

Pressure it part of racing. If you can't perform during the judged runs, you fail.

you all have valid arguements expect drifting isn't racing, it's what we do cause racing is BORING.
