PROBLEM.. need bushings..pix

Post by Epik »

So.. pulled out the rear subframe on the GS yesterday.

The diff mount bushings are much worse than I thought. I NEED urethane to replace these.. if I remember right, one of the TN boyz had ties to MMR plastics.. I know they did diff bushings for the Miata crowd.. see where I'm going with this???

If you can point me in the direction of some help.. please do.

here is what I'm dealing with

email MMR and he'll tell you if he can do it or not.

mmrdirect@gmail.com

he'll probably ask you for a bunch of measurements.

yea, i was trying to avoid that, but i may end up that way in order to not miss the next practice on the 3rd, and MBDrift rd5 on the 7th.

i can always press that junk out when the time comes..

i did find some sweet ass aluminum diff bushings that a guy with an SC300 had made, and his machine shop guy can replicate them. just a time factor for the next event

havent yet. i need to measure them.. been raining here after work all the time.

it is looking like my subframe bushings are the same as the mk4 supra/sc300.. so there may be options out there. for the next week though they will be urethaned with 3m.
