Rally is fun but find yourself a cheap FWD beater.

that cage is gay for so many reasons.
that car is beat to hell.
it has a sunroof.
it's from fail.

why get it:
you have more money than sense and you want a bunch of supra wheels.

It is definitely beat. I payed $1000 for my SR5, and it barely ran at all. So I looked at a caged GTS with all those extra wheels for $2K and was like whoa.

Exactly.

But my intention would be use it for its original intention. However, like Mike said, a FWD beater would be better for novice rally. I just happen to find these race ready and damn cheap.
Im trying to get Chad to go in half with me on the truck. LOL He's rich now, right? ;)

Regardless, Im merely window shopping anyway; for now.

No, no.. Chad is poopy broke. Christmas, Truck, Vegas = No more monies for a while. :) I just paid off AmEx too. Super ouchers!

Besides, the truck was 2.8L, 2WD. I would want a 4.0, 4WD. That would be worth getting!!! Then we could go tear shit up without having to go to an event. We could go exploring trials and crap in the mountains along with jumping woopty-doos!! :)

*edit* I know where I can get another 4.0 to replace mine for like $300-400 with some beefed up internals. But the tranny in mine is starting to act up. So that would need addressing before anything else.

booooo!!
Going 4awd puts you in a more advanced class. Plus according to the rules a novice has to start in the 2wd, small displacement (under 3.0), class anyway. It would be fun as hell to go blazing through some woods in a 4wd though. My grandmother has 300+ acres out in the country with trails. I'd love to get a beater and rage hell through it.

In all honesty, instead of looking at another car for a sport that don't know a whole lot about, I should be putting that money towards the Corolla. THIS, for example
